ACCESS CONTROL | AUTHORIZATION MANAGEMENT FOR SAP®
If you set the profile parameter dynamically, no users are logged out of the application server. You can prepare maintenance work in good time. The value 2 in the profile parameter does not prevent the login with the emergency user SAP*, if this is not set as user master record and the profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar is set to 0. You can also change the value of the parameter again at the operating system level. For details on the SAP user, see Tip 91, "Handling the default users and their initial passwords".

Do you want to automatically monitor the security settings of your systems and receive convenient evaluations? We will explain how to use configuration validation. If you have a large SAP system landscape in use, the control of the many different security settings can be complex. You can define these requirements in the SAP Solution Manager Configuration Validation application and evaluate compliance with these requirements in all systems.

First, consider the transport of your proposed permissions from various development systems to a consolidation system. When you save permission proposal values in transport orders, you will notice that generic entries are used instead of detailed BOMs. These generic entries mark all applications, for example, with TR*..
