Existing permissions
Run the System Trace for Permissions (ST01 or STAUTHTRACE transaction) to record permission checks that you want to include in the role (see Tip 31, "Optimise Trace Evaluation"). Applications are logged through the Launch Permissions checks.
This report not only gives you an overview of the table logging settings in the tables, but also allows you to select multiple tables for logging. The Log flag button allows you to set the table logging check for all previously selected tables. The current status of the table loggers for the tables can be found in the Protocol column. The icon means that the table logger for the selected table is off.
Deleting versions
If you use the option described by us to reload the change documents into a shadow database, you should also run the report SUIM_CTRL_CHG_IDX after each reload operation, marking the field Indexes loaded change documents. The role description and the long text are also depending on the language. It is therefore useful to start the roles in the language which is also used most frequently, and also to cultivate the descriptive texts first in this language. If roles are required in different languages, you can translate the texts.
