Use system recommendations to introduce security
Note the effect of user types on password rules
Now the SAP system is basically able to encrypt emails. However, the system still lacks the recipient's public key. You can manage the required public key information in the Trust Manager's address book. You can find the address book in the Transaction STRUST menu under Certificate > Address Book. Here you can import individual certificates by selecting the corresponding certificate in Certificate > Import Certificate. To get the certificates for all relevant users in this address book via a mass import, use the example programme Z_IMPORT_CERTIFICATES appended in SAP Note 1750161 as a template for a custom programme.

Since Release 4.6D, the system creates a new folder for each of the roles included in the pulley when rebuilding a Collective Roll menu at the first hierarchy level, and only then the corresponding menu is located. You can decide whether the text of each folder should consist of the technical name or the short text of the role. This function can be disabled by customising.
Custom Permissions
You can translate text blocks in permission roles individually using the SE63 transaction. If you need to translate many roles, there are also automation options that we present here. There are several scenarios in which it becomes interesting to translate the texts of permission roles, for example, if your company is acting internationally. Also, you may have taken over a third party company and the SAP systems used there, or you may want to simplify the SAP system landscape by combining different divisions in one system. In all of these cases, you must standardise or translate the texts of the authorisation roles. For pure translation, you can use the transaction SE63, which we explain in the first section of this tip. In general, however, you will need to translate a large number of role texts in these scenarios; Therefore, in the second section we will explain how you can automate the translation using the LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) transaction and will discuss how to set up a custom ABAP programme.

You know that changing your SU24 data involves mixing the roles in question. Previously, the permission administrators had to select roles from, for example, the SUIM transaction to edit them. Often, the remixing of the respective roles is also forgotten. In order to ensure that you can set the mixing mode for the respective roles directly when maintaining the data in the transaction SU24, the function has been provided here with the respective support packages named in SAP Note 1896191. Correction is used to change the mixing mode for PFCG: On/Off/Roles. The function assigns the shuffle mode to the roles, which corresponds to step 2c of the transaction SU25 (see tip 43, "Customise Permissions After an Upgrade"). You can enable this function by using the value Y for the parameter SU2X_SET_FORCE_MIX in the table PRGN_CUST. The status of the mixing mode can be checked by clicking the button Mixing mode for PFCG: Enquire On/Off. By default, this feature is off. The Roles button (Use in Single Roles) identifies all the roles that the selected application contains and displays them directly in the SU24 transaction. You will receive a list of all matching roles in the SUPC transaction by selecting the Also-to-be-matched roles option, and you can now gradually update the roles.

Assigning a role for a limited period of time is done in seconds with "Shortcut for SAP systems" and allows you to quickly continue your go-live.

So much information... how can you keep it so that you can find it again when you need it? That's what Scribble Papers is great for.

In order for these FIORI apps/tiles and groups to be displayed, the corresponding authorizations must be made on the basis of a group and catalog assignment.
